Kurzzusammenfassung:  

Using a multi-perspective design across six studies (literature reviews, workshops, focus groups, case study), this dissertation explored the impact of technologies on the vocational inclusion of people with disabilities and identified factors supporting technologies’ successful implementation at work. Findings show that technologies can facilitate vocational inclusion, but their impact depends on multiple interconnected factors, including individual, organizational, technological, sociostructural, and task-related factors. Inclusion in technology-mediated work environments is not an outcome achieved through technical adjustments, but a continuously negotiated sociotechnical condition. Consequently, inclusion and accessibility should be understood as foundational design principles of work and technology, rather than add-on requirements.
